The finest of materials are used in the construction of our
wearable art. Sterling silver wire
and 14K gold-filled Wire are used in a wide variety of gauges . Whether the piece has wire weaving or cut rings crafted into
chain maille...unless otherwise stated sterling silver and or gold-filled are used. Every now and then a chain maille piece
might be designed in copper or brass.
The findings used are made from the same fine metals as above.
Items such as lobster claw closures, spring rings, tube clasps and toggles are purchased from vendors we trust. On occasion
closures on necklace are handcrafted to complete a certain finishing detail. Austrian crystals, glass beads, sterling silver and gold-filled items are also used to complete
a common thread in pieces.
Occasionally, plated findings might be used and will be
noted in the description of the piece so that correct caution may be used in care. Precious metal clay® is also used to create one of a kind accents used in our jewelry.
Once fired this material becomes .999 Fine Silver.
Semi-precious stones are used in a wide variety of combinations in our jewelry. There is no such thing
as “too far” when shopping for beads.
All glass focal or accent beads are annealed in order to prevent breakage.
